Cimatron's Story at IMTS Chicago

This week marks my first visit to IMTS in Chicago, one of the most important manufacturing events in the world. While it is new territory for me, Cimatron is certainly no newcomer. Our team has been exhibiting at IMTS for many years, helping mold and die manufacturers push the boundaries of productivity, automation, and innovation.

Walking through the East Building, one thing immediately stands out: the strong presence of Sandvik Intelligent Manufacturing. Several of our business units are exhibiting side by side, creating what almost feels like a Sandvik pavilion. It is impressive to see how Sandvik continues to establish itself as a cornerstone of manufacturing software innovation, bringing together technologies that span the entire manufacturing value chain.

One of the most rewarding moments of the day came from an unexpected visitor. After approaching the booth, and without any prompting, he simply said:
Cimatron is the best integrated CAD/CAM solution for molds. I started using your software a long time ago. Your software is a beast!

Comments like these never get old. They are a reminder that decades of investment in automation, process expertise, and customer-driven innovation continue to make a real difference for mold and die manufacturers around the world.

The conversations throughout the day reinforced that message. Visitors showed strong interest in our vision for the future, including discussions around CAM Agent, SuperFinish, and the innovations coming in Cimatron 2027. It is exciting to see customers engage with these new technologies and share their own ideas about the future of manufacturing.

After a day filled with great discussions, positive feedback, and a glimpse of what's ahead, one thing is clear: innovation never stands still. And neither do we.
